Close to tram 8 to go the city center, the hotel have good room, with small kitchen (5euro if you want to use) clean also if old furniture, TV, air-con and fan in my room, bathroom clean also if not so much space between the wc and sink.

Good option in season when other city hotels are very expensive. This apartman type hotel is about 10min walking from Tram/Bus, has very friendly staff, rooms have little older furniture, but clean, and balcony is pleasant bonus. Breakfast is typical Italian sweet, every day the same, but good for starting your tour in town :-)

Nice and helpful staff, the place is okay. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for city visiting, to sleep night by night. Room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was below average, absolutely forgettable! The hotel is not in the downtown, but it's not far from there. We walked all the time in Rome, but there is a tram...

I was a little nervous when booking this hotel - the reviews were not really encouraging. But it was the best option as we were travelling on a tight buget. The hotel has a good location - nice neibourghood, clean, quiet. About 10 minutes walking from Trastevere train station, which was perfect for us as we had a direct train...

I not recommended this horrible hotel!!! They not tell you from the start about the acommodation tax but in the end they force you to pay 4 euro per day/person. Horrible communication, horrible hotel.

The hotel is a little further from the center. To center should take tram 8 (5 min walk from the hotel to the tram station) and then 15 minutes to Venice Square. The hotel is good in terms of the 3 stars. The reception staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast room attendant Breakfast is pretty shabby, everything...

I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies. Unfortunately, I was there for 6 days, it was not a favorable experience for my first time in Europe on my birthday. The website was very misleading. It stated that breakfast was included in the stay, it was not. It was available for an additional cost. I showed the website that...

We stayed in this hotel for one night and we were so glad it wasn't longer. The reception staff was very welcoming and friendly, as were any housekeeping staff and the breakfast room attendant. It's really too bad that the rooms and halls appear so seedy. Although the hotel has only been there since 1989, the rooms seem like they...

The hotel is bit hard to find if you dont have a gps. Its in a quiet place with not much around it but just a supermarket and a few bars. The hotel is very dated , old looking and you can hear drain pipes going when another room is either showering or flushing. Our room was quite clean but...

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights. It is a modest one, with a good quality-price value. The room was clean and had a kitchenette. Though we were there just for a few days, our towels were changed daily. In the morning we had breakfast but the menu it wasn't a generous one. We could choose to eat croissants, eggs,...

Staying in Monteverde

Neighbourhood Profile
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighbourhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centrepiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the centre to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
