Lovely quiet area 20 minutes to centre of Rome, rooms ok, usual continental breakfast. Bar area very quiet and at time struggled to get service but very polite staff. I would return because for a Rome 4 star hotel it was ok. Not your UK 4 star but fine

Hotel location was great, staff were more than helpful and friendly. The room was fab shower very powerful, only downside was my husband has a bad leg and found the bath a bit high, other than that superb. The breakfast was great and big selection, the décor was like a scene from Romeo and Juliet . Nothing was too much...

Comfy hotel, staff friendly, small continental buffet breakfast but something for everyone. I would of preferred to be a bit closer to the attractions as it was a good 15 - 20 minutes walk (uphill coming back) towels changed everyday, clean hotel just looking a bit tired.

This hotel is reasonably priced. We stopped here for my birthday in March for 3 nights as a couple enjoying a city break the mini bar had bottles of water and fruit juice which they let us have free (we think this was courtesy of it being my birthday). On arrival the hotel is in a good location and quiet...

A charming hotel situated about a fifteen minute walk from the main attractions, close enough to explore everything but away from the bustle of the centre. The reception staff on arrival were extremely friendly and helpful and this was the case with every member of staff we met! The rooms are of a lovely old worldly design and very traditional...

Veneto Palace Hotel is a good, solid choice. My room (404) was spacious; the bathroom was entirely adequate (shower; no tub). I could have used more desk/table top space. The only one I had was a small corner desk which was pretty much filled up with my small MacBook Air. Lighting was good; air condition worked well. (Even though my...

Just stayed for 3 nights at this lovely hotel. Rooms are very nicely decorated, perhaps just a little on the small side. Excellent bathroom with fantastic shower (although we did have no hot water on the last morning) Breakfast is plentiful, staff are all very efficient and friendly. Not far to walk to everywhere. Would recommend!

We stayed two nights at Venento Palace (and I am still amused it's called a Palace). It was definitely sufficient, but no Palace. One of the more expensive hotels in Rome, it was in a nice location, had very helpful/friendly staff, was clean and accommodating. We had a twin share, the beds were quite uncomfortable (however I feel this is...

Fantastic stay in Rome. Excellant location. Walking distance Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Metro not far. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Very nice rooms. Friendly/helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Left Thursday, but would go back.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was selected by our tour (Italy Vacations) and more than met our needs. We stayed 6 nights. Location was quieter than the Centro Storico, but there is an underground shortcut that easily gets...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
