The customer service at this hotel was exceptional. The front desk check in and service in the breakfast was really nice, however the rooms (bedding/linen/curtains/floors) was very dated. The bathroom was the best part of the room. Not sure what happened to my temperature control, but I had it set about 17 overnight at at some point we were sweating...

We stayed for one night in the hotel Victoria as a pre cruise stopover. The first room we were given had a very dirty carpet which I really didn't feel comfortable with even for one night .I then asked for a different room which they gave me which looked like the carpet had been removed which actually was better . Whilst the position of the hotel is good our room was in need of a make over and some modernisation ...It is Rome but it was quite expensive for the standard overall .. Staff helpful and help us enjoy our stay.

Stayed here for three nights on a city break. Hotel is very traditional with friendly and efficient staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and nice coffee.Location was good, being in a quieter area, near the Borghese Gardens, but not too far to walk to central Rome. Had a lovely meal on the roof terrace and...

We stayed here for one night prior to a cruise the following day. The staff were very helpful carrying our bags and giving us suggestions of where to eat. The hotel is well situated opposite the Borghese gardens and a 10- 15 minute walk downhill to the Spanish steps. We had initially booked to eat in the hotel restaurant in...

We stayed at Hotel Victoria for 2 nights on our own and 3 nights with our tour. The hotel is old but very gracious. The rooftop garden is lovely and fairy like with the tiny lights. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and very clean. The bath was spacious. The tub was large and a little slippery....

Beautiful period hotel! There is a rooftop garden restaurant and bar with stunning views. Last 2 nights of our 25th Anniversary celebration spent in Rome at the hotel. September 17 and 18. Hotel recommended by our travel agent. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
