We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights to explore Rome, and found this place to be well connected, easily accessible via public transport and walking, and with great food.
The room itself (fifth floor for us) was uniquely designed (fabric wallpaper and matching everything!),...More
We arrived late in the evening after a long flight from Morocco. The hotel staff was ready for us. The room was spacious and clean. The workers were all very pleasant and accommodating and spoke English. They answered all of our questions. Sam one of...More
I spent there 3 nights with my nieces.
The place is in the center, near Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. It is clean & tidy.
The breakfast was on the terrace with a delicious & wide variety, which have a very beautiful view of Basilica...More
What a lovely hotel, very tastefully decorated and furnishings very detailed. The location is good with our room overlooking the magnificent Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. The walk down into the centre of the city was easy and interesting but we all took Taxi’s back,...More
We arrived from USA and hired a car, for touring Italy, drove to the hotel. They parked the car overnight in nearby garage, and had it ready fro me the next day.
We were rather curiously placed in the annex. That's several doors down from...More
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Train direct grom airport to our stop. An easy ten minute stroll to train station. Could do it in 5 if necessary. About a three minute walk to metro. We were able to do most of sites, fountain, steps etc by walking. Metro very easy to navigate. At Vatican in no time. Buses not so easy to use. Best avoided. Lovely restaurant straight across road. Good food. Great prices. Hotel will hold bags on last day till you are ready to get train. Enjoy.

We had a HUGE problem with the airport transportation on the way in (the wrong service identified us, drove us halfway to the hotel and then dropped us in the rain on the side of the road). We ended up walking over to the train station for the return trip and that was incredibly easy and inexpensive. I would use the train all the time now when I return to Rome.
