The hotel was not 4star, or at least our room wasn't. Very dated, tired and grubby bathroom with very cramped fittings, and a bath/shower that had mouldy sealant, and badly repaired hole in the actual bath.
On a noisy road so couldn't have the windows...More
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It was an excellent choice. We had requested a room with a view and sure got one. It was also a corner room. I spent at least 20 minutes each day just admiring the scenery from our...More
We stayed just for two nights but what a great stay. The hotel organised a taxi collection from the airport, and then back again at the end of our stay. We had a lovely room overlooking the square, which was immaculately clean and very comfortable....More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
