The hotel is well located, in a walking distance you can find high-quality family restaurants, supermarkets etc. Taking into consideration restricted parking area, the hotel parking helps a lot. Though the hotel is in a distance from the city center, there is free shuttle service provided by the hotel to get to the city center and back. The quarter is...

Everything about our stay at The Duke Hotel was 1st- rate. All staff were excellent, friendly , obliging & very helpful, from the Desk to the drivers of the wonderful Shuttle Bus to Piazza Del Popolo , which makes a stay at the hotel so straightforward. In particolare Grazie to Alessandro on the Desk who arranged our trip to the...

We really enjoyed our four nights in this hotel. All staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious with an old world charm and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The hotel is outside the centre of Rome but the hotel provides a prebookable shuttle bus. The hotel has large, attractive restaurant/lounges with a grand old fashioned feel. We really liked it.

This is my third review of this hotel, even if I had this great experience many times more! So I'm really sure in confirming the excellence of my choice. If you are tired of "standard" and impersonal Rome accommodations, go for this small, but really well runned pearl. It's one of the best kept secret in Rome: the staff is...

The positive: The staff was extremely friendly and were more than willing to answer any questions from my wife and I. The receptionist even informed us of a great places to visit to oversee Rome and to take pictures. This place had one of the best continental breakfast spreads that I have seen. The interior of the hotel was beautiful...

This is overall a very nice hotel. It is a little way from the main attractions but runs a very efficient shuttle bus service that always worked for our timings and preferences. There are also a couple of very nice restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The connecting rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Very comfortable in fact except for...

I have just had my 60th birthday at The Duke. Myself and 11 friends stayed for a few days and we all felt the hotel was fantastic. From the moment we were collected from the airport we were incredibly well looked after. As the 'birthday girl' my room was upgraded to a fabulous suite. We had planned the birthday meal...

We recently stayed at The Duke for a week. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful. The breakfast was always fresh, tasty, a large selection and the wait staff was one of the best things about our stay. Each morning they greeted...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
