I spent only three nights at the Duke for a conference taking place nearby. A superb hotel. The rooms are comfortable; the service is superb. The morning breakfast and coffee were outstanding (including the scrambled eggs!). The hotel is also very close to a number of restaurants and cafes, so if you don't mind walking for ten or fifteen minutes,... More

Lovely hotel, professional staff, the room was well equipped and the breakfast was good. Also, the hotel`s free shuttle to the Piazza del Popolo is very usefull; it saves you valuable time, especially if you`re planning on visiting a lot!

I was happy and I felt welcome from first setting foot inside the Duke hotel. The staff were attentive, polite and service minded. The shuttle to Via Di Palazzo was a great service but my wife and myself went to explore on our own the second day and took the train from Euclide station. We both loved I Duce, the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and gave us lots of help and recommendations for travel and sightseeing. The shuttle bus was very useful and it allowed us to explore the city in the evening and try new restaurants for dinner.

After searching for hours looking for the right hotel to use as our base for exploring Rome I finally found The Duke Hotel. I had read so much about noisy city centre hotels and I knew that we were looking for somewhere quiet to rest up from all that walking. The Duke was ideal, situated in a generally quiet residential... More

We stayed here for a 4 night city break in November. The hotel was great. Our room was on the small side compared to some others but as we were out all day that was not a problem. Housekeeping was good and the room and bathroom were spotless. There was an extensive buffet for breakfast, which included Prosecco! The hotel... More

Beautiful hotel and very nice staff however upon departure we were surprised by a extra city tax charge which was not made clear to us! this was a poor end to our long weekend stay but didnt ruin our stay. We were given free cocktails upon arrival as part of a package and our room had a beautiful king size... More

Nice quiet location but within easy reach of Rome sites. Hotel bus was great. Room was lovely and the free travel guide smartphone was a real bonus. We felt really relaxed and spoilt at the end of our stay

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
