We had a truly wonderful stay in this gem of a hotel recently. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and we felt genuinely welcomed. Excellent rooms with great attention to detail, high ceilings, and a view of the American Embassy. Wonderful breakfast buffet and also quiet relaxing atmosphere make it a perfect sanctuary. Hotel's location couldn't be better, it's...

This was our first trip to Rome. We had a fantastic hotel and the staff was stellar. We were told to not stay in a chain hotel. To our surprise it was as friendly and personable as any small hotel. From the help of Mirko and Geada at the front desk to everyone who served at the breakfast buffet. Super...

Beautiful hotel in a great location for Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Termini, Colosseum, Villa Borghese and great restaurants and shopping (everything you could want in the centre of Rome!) The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was great and we really enjoyed chilling out in the spa. Will definitely go again!!

We spent 5 nights here during our summer trip to Italy. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Rooms are beautiful; each room is based on unique theme. It was very comfortable stay overall and had very nice amenities. Hotel staff is very friendly and breakfast was fabulous, we really enjoyed the breakfast there. People there...

I can't speak highly enough of the entire staff and our overall experience at the Boscolo Palace Roma. Not inexpensive, but well worth the investment in our vacation stay. Highly recommended!!! Great location.

My wife and I stayed here for a recent four day visit to Rome. We arrived early (10 am) and they had our room ready so we checked in. As a Marriott Platinum member they upgraded us to a room with a balcony (709) and sent us a bottle of wine and cheese. The hotel was within walking distance to...

Overall this was a good place to stay. Which I didn't find surprising since it's a Marriott affiliate. The rooms were spacious, the staff very courteous, and the breakfast was great. It was a long walk from some of Rome's attractions (Vatican), but an easy walk to things like the Trevi Fountain. We enjoyed many of the eateries surrounding the...

Our first stay in 18 days traveling about Italy - great central location - concierge and staff very helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed as we headed off to explore each day and then when we left on our trip driving about - breakfast amazing too. There are never any surprises when you book a Marriott partner -...

Spent four Marriott Rewards nights here --- 20-Oct-13 and 01-Nov-13 to 04-Nov-13. On the first stay, the room (Room 602) was small and the bed was hard with no comfortable furniture to relax in. No room upgrade either, which is expected for Marriott Platinum Members. At check out for our first stay, I was promised a "superior" room for our...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
