Excellent location, 2 blocks from Rome's main train station. We showed up early for check in (like 10 am). By noon, they had our room ready which was a major plus. (They even held our bags for us till then. The room was very large compared to all other rooms we stayed in on our trip (corner room, top floor)....

I was part of a party staying at the hotel for a 3 night weekend. The Hotel location is ideal for easy access to public transport, being 2 minutes from Termini. There are lots of Bars and Restaurants in the area. The hotel itself is very nice , unfortunately on arrival quite late on Friday evening they had reserved a...

Pluses: Great location. Close to the train station, which is also the hub for the metro station. Lots of shops and restaurants are convenient. Pretty nice place, very big, very busy. Friendly staff. Very nice and clean. Minuses: The bath room is tiny. Being from the US, I'd certainly trade that bidet for the extra space. The shower is hard...

Stayed for 3 nights. Pros were that it was close to train station and wi-fi was free. We were given the wrong hotel room at first and had to move to another floor. Room keys were hard to operate. Had to have staff help us open our door on occasion. No 120 volt hook up. Was told to go "buy...

Decent hotel with good location if you want to stay close to the main train station. Very hot room (+27!) and no possibility to turn down the temp. Friendly staff, though. A piece of advice: avoid the hotel "limousine" that will be offered to bring you to the airport. I accepted this means of transport and found myself being brought,...

After a stay in Montecatini Terme this hotel was even better. From the beautiful lobby to our spacious room and full bath we were in heaven! We stayed in room 402 and it was quiet and convenient to elevator. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. We were served complimentary wine and bruscuitta with our entrees....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
