Located at less than 10 min walking from major atraction, this hotel is quite convinient. Clean, even if I don't like moquette. Only the shower is quite small and uncomfortable inside the bathtub. Breakfast is OK with a nice view on Rome. Wifi is very slow

Breakfast and dinner at the rooftop restaurant were amazing - what a view! The hotel was very clean, the room though small was comfortable. The staff were very helpful with directions to attractions and transportation to the airport. Just around the corner from Piazza Barberini, close to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Metro station.

I have been here at the hotel for 4 days, and during the shower the water is warm and after a few seconds it turns cold and then warm again. For 4 days after I contacted the reception staff - the problem was not resolved at all. All the advantages of the hotel are dwarfed by the fact that you...

Located at about ten minutes walkingdistance from the Piazza d'Espagna, about 20 min distance from Galleria Borghese. We lived in the junior suite (four adults), a bit tiny for us but big enough for a couple or for a small family. The best part about the hotel is the rooftop restaurant with view of Rome, I could choose this hotel...

The room was lovely, nice minibar that was not expensive for once, very friendly English speaking hotel staff, and great location just a short walk from the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. The rooftop restaurant has beautiful views and great food. Great price for such a lovely, well located hotel. Near to train stations and most tourist hotspots are within...

A couple of days in Rome, to show the city to my kids, and this hotel was quite a good choice. The room was not the biggest, and the kids slept on a sofa bed and on a 4th bed taken there for the occasion, but it was good enough. *** room *** A baroque room, very nice and well...

We booked last minute at the Barberini Hotel and have had a very positive experience. The staff are accommodating, the breakfast is delicious, the hotel is lovely. Rooms are small but quaint with updated bathrooms and all of the wonderful Italian charm. The location is spectacular just blocks from Trevi and center to nearly everything we wanted to see. Highly...

Hotel Barberini was a great find for a short break in Rome. It is a small hotel (approx. 35 rooms) in the Barberini area of Rome - about a 10 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain (up/down a small hill) and within 30 min walk of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill etc (up/down a longer hill). There is an easy to...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
