This was our choice for a pre-cruise hotel. Its location at the rear of the Vatican is amazing. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable with none of the normal european sparce space. The restaurant is outstanding and the food is off the charts. If you get a chance, do try this hotel.

If your not concerned about staying in the center of the city, this is a nice, affordable hotel. The area is ok, mostly residential apartments with stores and a few restaurants on the main street at the bottom of the hill. The ROME bus system, available at the bottom of the hill on the main street, provides great access to...

Basically clean. Room decor needs updating. Room furnishings are outdated and a little old and worn out. Not our North american 4 star standard. Breakfast buffett is very good. A short walk to mini grocery store and a few eatery. Overall nothing terribly bad during our stay of 3 nights.

Checkin was fast and friendly. Requested a quiet room was I also got. Room was average, both in terms of space and condition. Very negative that internet is offered at a fee. Breakfast was good and met all my requirements. Location of this hotel is far away from downtown as it is in a residential area. If purpose of your...

Myself & my partner are just back from holidays in Rome and we stayed in this hotel. We booked it on the secret hotel packages and from start to finish it was a disaster. We booked a balcony room or so we thought, when we arrived me told it wasn't and basically because we booked it through another website it was...

forget international star rating references when you go to Italy. It can be a (good or bad)surprise every time. This hotel is a 4star rated institution and has a lot to propose in terms of set up. Gym, business centre and all the necessary room you expect from a big hotel but really is tired and needs a deco and...

We travelled to Rome in May for a long 'girls only' weekend. The hotel wasn't the usual NH boutique city hotel, rather typical of a 4* chain but the little touches such as the handwritten local map (in English) and the overall service and standard were good throughout. We opted for a taxi vs bus/walk into the city, approx 3km...

booked through that "secret hotel location" thing online for a special deal. Hotel itself was clean and nice. Room air con was very weak so we slept with windows open but very heavy traffic at will wake you in the early morning. The pool does not open until the summer months also. The minibar available in your room is very...

After reading the reviews, I felt happy going with this hotel considering the price we paid for it via a different website. Rooms - asked for a double, to be given a twin. Asked to be moved, but new room STUNK of cigarette smoke. Asked for a different room only to be given a double room used as a single...

The hotel was nice enough, reasonable breakfast, quiet comfortable rooms. The main problem was the distance to the city centre and its travel connections. Unless you travel by cab, you're restricted by buses and the last bus is at midnight, so you're clock watching! It was also too far and difficult to return to the hotel to get ready to...
