We booked this hotel because we had enjoyed our last stay her about 6 years ago. The location is still perfect, but the service was now very bad, we were not welcomed or said good bye to, nor did they pay any attention to us throughout our stay except when they asked if we wanted to pay! We got married...

Colonna Palace is perfectly located in the centre of Rome ,near via del Corso. You can walk everywhere. And you'll always have the carabinieris around cause it's opposite the parliament house. And the staff in the hotel- they were amazingly friendly and helpful. It was a real pleasure. My friend and I had single rooms and they were all right....

Colonnade Palazzo Hotel is in the centre of Rome opposite Parliament House and near the Panthenon. This 4 star hotel is handy to everything. Just off Del Corso the main road of Rome that runs down to the Coleusem, Monument of Vittorio Emannuelle, Spanish Steps. Banks are nearby if one needs a ATM. Cross over the road of Del Corso...

We chose to stay in a 4 star hotel with roof terrace 5 minutes north of the Pantheon and last year we stayed in a 3 star with roof terrace 5 minutes south of the Pantheon. The better hotel by £200, breakfast quality and choice and location was last year. Although the location was good, the breakfast was lovely to...

Location is Excellent - walking distance to all major sights, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps for example. Staff is very nice and polite, they even memorized our room number. Check-in was easy, they photocopied our passports and did all "paperwork" for us. Room was on the Piazza side. It was a bit oldish but okey. Air conditioning was a...

This was our first experience of Rome. What a great location, and within walking distance of many sights. Breakfast on the roof overlooking part of Rome was a highlight. Internet very slow was a downside.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
