Very good hotel, top service and friendly helpful staff. Very clean and very good quality service. We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for getting around Rome with everything within walkable distance, the Termini (main station) was just over the road with easy access to buses, metro, train and taxis. There was plenty of good quality affordable places...

just finishing our short stay in this very pleasant hotel, very conviently situated near the Termini so easy to get to places. The room was at the top with its own patio area, very nice. Like another reviewer said the bed was hard but that was ok for us - not sure if it was the hard bed or the...

A great location if you want to be next to Termini train station. We were in the only room on the roof/fourth floor which unfortunately the wifi didn't reach but we did have a little garden terrace which was lovely. The bed was very firm/hard and the pillows were flat, which I found uncomfortable but my partner didn't mind. The...

The room was decorated well, with wooden floors and fabric wall coverings. Aircon was quiet and worked well, much needed after the heat of the city. All staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was a buffet with a good range of choices, even for fussy eaters! Walking distance of the station and therefore easy to get...

We spent what should have been 3 nights here, the room was lovely and we had no complaints. The only reason this gets 4 stars is we had to spend the first night in an alternative room due to someone not checking out. This hotel was supposed to be the same quality but it really wasn't, the room wasn't as...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
