Hotel was central and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast okay and plentiful but boring after second day. Coffee at breakfast was absolutely horrible, whichever button you pressed on the machine. The room was fine for a few days but the beds were very basic. A positive was that although we visited in November the air con was still...

AS stated in earlier reviews the location is this hotel's selling point. i liked the old fashioned feel and the bits of shabby. My friend and I had specially asked for a twin room but when we arrived, there wasn't one to be had, so we got a family room with 2 double beds. No complaints about that, it was...

We have just come back today from A 4 night stay. If you are thinking of booking this hotel I will go through the positive and the negatives- Positives- 1)good location for the colloseum and about 20 minutes from Trevi fountain. Around the hotel there is a handful of restaurants and about 5 minutes takes you to the designer shops...

chose this hotel because of location, the staff were friendly and helpful, basic but who spends a great deal of time in a room when in rome , the breakfast room was light & airy, the breakfast was not over exciting but sufficient, there is a lift to all the floors, and so we are now looking forward to returning...

Stayed here with family 16th-19th October, having stayed in this area of Rome previously I had high expectations and was really looking forward to it. The staff are very friendly at the hotel, but the first thing you're hit by is the tourist tax. I know it's not the fault of the hotel, and I'm in favour of a tourist...

Stayed 4 nights here. The best feature of this hotel is it's location. Close to the railway station, the hop-on-hop-off bus stop, and within walking distance of the Colosseum, Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain. The room was fairly small but this is typical of a city centre hotel. Comfortable enough although no British TV channels. Breakfast was - again -...

We stayed here for three nights after a cruise. We arrived quite early - around 10:30am - due to a very efficient shuttle service from Civitavecchia. We were quite prepared to leave our suitcases and wait until later to check in, but our room was ready and we were checked in straight away, which was very nice. Be aware that...

Stayed 3 nights - hotel is well placed and convenient for the main station. Its easy to visit the sights by bus or on foot. Staff are helpful and rooms are excellent, though not large. Breakfast is basic but adequate. No restaurant but there is a good choice of cafes and restaurants nearby.

A group of four of us (2 x couples) stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Verona at the end of September/beginning of October 2016. The hotel is situated about a 10/15 minute walk from the Termini and a similar distance from the Coliseum. In fact, everything we wanted to see – including the Vatican – was in easy walking distance....
