Recently returned back from the residenza Bourbon, these are sold through travel republic and there own website as luxury and although they are very clean and tidy both my husband and I both felt there where more a basic base rather than a luxury boutique place to stay. Being basic was fine for us as we did not spend a...

We chose this hotel for our last night in Rome because of it's central location to attractions and that it is within walking distance to the train station (to the airport). I believe we received one of the deluxe units as an upgrade and were not disappointed. The room was modern and sophisticated and had everything in it to make...

I stayed here for a night in the separate apartment away from the main residenza. The room was lovely and big and Valeria who met us at the door was wonderful and friendly. The only problem was the drains smelt a bit and there were a few scuff marks here and there which made the room look a bit worn....

We booked the Family Suite as a base for our wedding in Rome. It is an extremely large and modern studio apartment in a quiet street close to Via Veneto and all the sights in Rome. Laura from the B&B met us at the apartment to let us in and was extremely helpful providing us with maps and suggestions of...

I booked Residenza Bourbon for one day with my husband and kids. We booked the biggest room. At the airport in Sweden I get a phone call where the lady from Residenza was saying if it was ok with one queen and one single bed - and I said yes what could I do when we were arriving in 6...

I shouldn't really tell you how nice this place was, because there might not be rooms for me next time. But it was a terrific location, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. A great deal for a hotel in Rome. Close to the Stazione but far away enough for the peace and quiet. Also within walking to a supermarket,...

This really is a great hotel and a great hub to explore Rome from. The room was decorated nice and modern but was comfy and relaxing too. It was clean and tidy at all times and the staff there are amazing. Their small team can't do enough for you and are so helpful and happy all the time. I'd defiantly...

We stayed here for a week and had the most warm of welcomes the staff here are lovely and provided an overview of the best things to do in the city on arrival and were always more than happy to suggest things to do and places to go. This was a beautiful modern room with a comfortable bed and nice big bathroom. The service provided was excellent and the breakfast was good. It was a great location for getting around Rome and also quite at night.

The receptionist was very welcoming. She even helped us up the flight of stairs with our cases. She gave us a map explained the three key system. Bear in mind the rooms are located in an older style block. It is next door to the toy shop and you need to look on the bronze plaques to see Residenza Bourbon...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
