We booked this hotel as a package with BA, and got the whole deal for a really good price. We read some mixed reviews, so were a bit sceptical but went with an open mind. The location is really handy for the main rail station so you can get from the airport to the hotel in less than an hour....

It is clean hotel just across the street from Termini, on the side where Teravision bus from airport ends end starts (5 euros in one direction). We were on 5th floor and had balcony which was great. Room was quiet and we slept well. But I must agree with Alexey B that breakfast was poor, and my suggestion to hotel...

This hotel is very well located right near the main train station and surrounded by some nice restaurants, cafes and a great laundry service just around the corner. The rooms are very very small but very clean. Really unless your sick you don't spend much time in the room. An ok hotel but it is very old and dated we...

Hotel Rimini was a great choice during our quick trip to Rome. We arrived on the train and for 2 female travelers with bags it was perfect. We were able to walk right across the street to the hotel and found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was also very nice, clean, and I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast....

We stayed in this hotel in December (low season in Rome), so we received great upgrade - we were accommodated in the suite (mansard) of the hotel. It consisted of huge room in traditional style, small kitchenette (which we did not use at all, so I cannot say anything about it), great open space with a table and chairs which...

We stayed in double room for 3 nights over Easter weekend. The rooms are smaller however ours was clean and the beds were comfy. Plenty selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and helped us out when we were trying to book tickets for St Peters Basilica. The location was first class, We eat at Road House grill at the station,...

Not bad experiance. Great location -about 50 meters from Termini station. Only 5 minutes and you are in the train. Very poor breakfast. Every day it was the same breakfast. Cleaning was every day and it was ok.:-)

I shouldn't have been in a very good mood arriving at the Rimini - KLM had lost my luggage! - and we were due to embark on an 11 day cruise the next morning. We chose the Rimini mainly because it was convenient for an overnight turnaround from FCO to Civitavecchia. It was a great choice for that reason. The...

I knew the hotel was in the cheaper part of Rome so expectations weren't high. All I wanted was a clean hotel, decent breakfast and place to get a good night sleep ..... Hotel was clean, central for station and sightseeing. Majority of staff that I met were polite but the male receptionist usually on duty in the morning was...

thanks for your judgment that allows us to finally understand how many actually rated "negative" are false and curiously are posted after some very positive - that says the opposite of what I write these alleged customers - but there seems to be that our customers received bad traits?? or a "friend" coincidentally is run in the same hotel and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
