We stayed at the Zen House B&B for a total of six nights. We were three people, me, 21, my mother, 53 and my grandmother, 81 ! Giacomo was absolutely perfect, especially with my grandma whom he treated like royalty, much like the rest of us for that matter. The place is casual, comfortable and extremely pleasant to live in....

I stayed here for three nights while visiting Rome and I am so glad I did! The room was huge with a comfortable bed and all facilities were clean and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast in the morning. Everything was fresh and the coffee was strong and the perfect start to my mornings (I swear whenever I...

Best and coolest host I've ever met: nice place, nice vibe and lovely cats! Giacomo was preparing dinner for the guests on the day of my arrival and he offered us a great sample of Italian food and wines. Plus the location is great (I highly recommend entering the old city via Porta di San Gregorio at least once, or...

A cosy apartment located in San Giovanni. A 10 minute walk for the subway, bus lane around, supermarket, restaurants. If you want to know the city on foot, 30 minutes to the Coloseum, less than 10 minutes to San Sebastian Door and Via Apia Antica. Giacomo is a wonderful person willing to help all the time and sometimes he cooks...

Rome is (understandably) difficult to do on a budget but finding this lovely little hostel definitely made it easier!! It may be a little out of the centre of town but when its only 15 minutes to the coliseum on bus this really doesn't matter. Giacomo is the most wonderful host, always happy to have a chat and to offer...

This was the best place we stayed during our trip to Italy! The Host, Giacomo, was so gracious! Breakfast was provided, he gave us tips for busing and the subway, laundry was 2 euro and he washed it and hung it up to dry for us!!! He even gave us a farewell dinner, the most delicious risotto during our entire...

I spent one night here and the host was very accommodating! He is very sincere and helpful. The next day he let me leave my bags during the day and even let me stay at the B&B until my bus at 1:00 AM free of charge.. Then to be even more kind, he drove me to the bus station because...

Before I begin, I will say that this has no A/C, like most hostel type B&Bs. I didn't realize how hot it would be... It was 40 C when I got there and the city was so hot that I couldn't even last a night without A/C. Maybe when I was younger, but not anymore. Giacomo, the manager, was perhaps...

I've been to Rome many times but this was the first time I stayed here with Giacomo and I will definitely be back. I never wanted to leave! Great rooms, lots of space in the common area, bathrooms and kitchen and very close to everything. Metro is close, but I walk everywhere so 30-40 mins to termini is a nice...
