The hotel was suitable for what we wanted. You get a safe and a fridge, TVs in Italian although says it have satellite...I always assume English speaking ones when mentioning satellite. The hotel itself was hard to find but keep circling the park out side and look at the walls between the shops. The hotel itself is across two floors...

Arriving at night the place is hard to find and in what appears to be a rough area. There is no fancy signs, Lobby or reception area to spot just a pair of heavy. Wooden doors The hotel is on the second and third floor of an old I guess apartment building above shops. The rooms are small but clean...

Spent a week here for my birthday in June. The hotel was conveniently located and the staff were so helpful, especially getting us a cab so very last minute to get us to the airport on time. It was close but we made it. Many thanks!

Clean, comfortable, good shower. As long as you aren't expecting luxury then this hotel is all you need. We walked the whole of rome from here and so convenient for the metro too. Couldn't find any English tv channels but then again I wasn't in rome to watch tv. The only thing I would've liked to see would be tea/coffee...

The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed, great shower and good location. Just a 10 minute walk from the Colloseum. We had the view of Plaza Vittorio Emanuelle, with a balcony, it wasn't noisy though. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

4 stars out of five. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Just be careful of the surrounding area due to pick pockets etc.the staff could do better if they try to communicate using English more often. It was value for money all the way.

Booked this hotel during peak period where many places are fully booked. I choose it as it fits my budget, close to the metro, and it is relatively new and renovated nicely. On the downside, the wifi is quite weak, house keeping can be better. The area can be quite quiet by 9plus, and there are a number of men...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
