Wonderfully quiet and large comfortable room with king sized bed very near the train station. Great stay. We enjoyed the near by restaurants and the museums. The staff was also wonderful. The breakfast was good but you may do better at a resturant.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. After a day of sightseeing you want a clean, comfortable room to come back to. The bed and pillows amazing with high quality linens. The staff was incredibly helpful and location great for us! On our next trip to Rome I will be booking here in advance. The best accommodation...

The quality of the rooms is first class & very well located for visiting Rome. The staff are extremely helpful & will recomend & book restaurants for you. The breakfast is adequate with good tea & coffee. On our departure day the card machine would not process either of my cards & they had problems with the machine over the...

Stayed here with my parents for 3 nights in May 2016. The room was very spacious and clean. Very charming decoration. Staff was very friendly. There are many restaurants around the block. We walked to the Trevi Fountain, to the coliseum and to the Vittoriano (not on the same day). It was an enjoyable walk that took us about 15-20minutes....

Stayed here for just over a week with my wife and daughter. It's a great location with comfortable beds, great bathroom, very friendly staff and really good value. Free wifi is available too which is always a bonus. Reception is open 24 hours and the main door to the building is locked after hours but you just press a buzzer...

As part of a 10-day visit to Italy to meet my significant other (temporarily working on the other side of the world) for a mid-tour vacation, we stayed at the Residenza Cellini for three nights. First off, it’s about a 15-minute walk (or less) to the hotel from the Roma Termini train station. It’s super easy to get to and...

This is one of the better places we stayed at. Close to train station, metro and tourist bus stops. A great walking distance away from Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Forum and Coloseum. The staff here went out of there way to assist us in any way we needed including laundry, transportation recommendations, restaurants and directions. Breakfast was European style with...

The location of the hotel is excellent. The Termini station, Bath of Diocletian and Plazzo Massimo(one of the great archaeological museum) are all steps away. Eataly has a branch right around the corner. We can walk to Coliseum/Forum as well as Palazzo Barberini (Art museum). Our hotel room is very quiet, clean and well appointed. The staff members are courteous...

The staff did everything they could to make our stay great! The room was extremely clean and the décor is beautiful. The breakfast was just ok. Great location. We were on the third floor in a family room. It was a nice size. There is a small elevator, but the kids had fun using it.

I first stayed at, and reviewed, Residenza Cellini a few years ago. I gave it an excellent review at that time.In the last few years I didn't stay there, for a variety of reasons, but now I was able to go back and found it as lovely and welcoming as it was before. The location, close to the train station,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
