Hotel is comfortable, location is great, interior is old but rooms are clean, big tv, big window, bathroom is huge, only I couldn't take a shower at night, because hot water didn't come(warm one, but not enough warm for a cold day) Had to take shower in the morning 🙈Normal breakfast 🍳they do have a nice veranda with cool views...

Just got back from 4 nights here. The room was clean and comfortable, but a little dated. The staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were easy. Breakfast was good and constantly re-stocked. The location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to Termini, and good restaurants just across the road. Around 20 minutes walk to the Colosseum,...

Bed is sagging, sheet is torn, & so is the wallpaper. Not to mention the loose headboard for the bed. Foyer is okay. Hallway a bit dark. Bathroom is the nicest part of the room. Staff seems friendly. Won't stay here again.

My stay in here was good and bed is comfy but the room looks old. Location is amazing only 5 minutes walk from termini station and 20min walk to coloseum. Breakfast is also good. I would recommend this

Stayed here for 2 nights on our family visit to Rome. The check in was quick and efficient, receptionists were all friendly and helpful. Our room was not the largest but had all we needed, a bit old but has a character so I didnt mind. Only think we could not ring between rooms for some reason. But nothing big....

This hotel does not justify its 4 stars, not even by a longer shot. Rooms are small with damaged and outdated furniture the hotel being in need of serious refurbishments. Cleaning personnel seems to be overwhelmed, our room being not cleaned even at 2 pm. Breakfast is basic at best. Take care of the breakfast taken on the roof terrace....

This is a hotel that has definitely seen better days, but the days it sees now can be very pleasant. The staff is quintessentially Romano, which may seem at times indifferent to some, but not so to those who know Rome. It's kept very clean and is very conveniently-located. It's close to Termini but not too close. The neighborhood is...

When we got there the receptionist was really rude, he was mad about something in his computer and almost yelled us. He didn't say a word in English, Italian only. When I get to my room the bed had hairs on it, and there was this sound of water dripping all the time coming from the air ventile. I did...

When traveling in Rome, Hotel Torino is only 2 short blocks from Termini, the bus and Train station. The rooms are small, but enough for 2 people. Since most use the rooms for sleeping and showering. Rome has so much to offer to the traveler that if anyone wants to explore all of Rome, this is convenient. The rooms are...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
