I just spent the weekend at the Grand Hotel Plaza. My stay was fabulous. I think some of the prior reviewers may have had a certain perception/expectation that wasn't met or stayed during an exceptionally busy time. The hotel doormen immediately greeted me upon arrival and helped me with my bags. Check in was smooth and easy; completed by a...

I spent a few days in this romantic and bourgeois hotel. For those who seek a location with old, chic, noble flavour, this is!! I liked very much this location near the important touristic objectives and shopping area. The staff was very prompt and also I appreciate the care with which we were treated. I recommend it!

I loved my four day stay at this excellently located hotel. It is on Via del Corso...and just minutes away from many of Rome's must-dos...attractions as well as restaurants. The rooms were very spacious...I was surprised, because Rome...like New York and other places huge on tourism and low on acreage, tend to have smaller rooms. Not this hotel...the bathrooms were...

I stayed for one night in an upgraded room - 564. This was a very nice 2 floor- upstairs a double bed and downstairs a small lounge setup. The hotel is has a very classic but impressive lobby- breakfast lounge; my room was old/ classic- not the best maintenance but still very homely feel. I had a beautiful terrace overlooking...

Nice and central hotel in rome. That's the positive part. By the check in and to all of our stay no one did spoke about a late check out fee. At our check out (17:00) the guy at the desk asked 200€. After a 5 minuets argument the fee reduced to 100€. Paid and left. I'll won't be back again.

We've stayed at this hotel many times & have always had a very good experience. It's central, close to many historical places, even walking distance of St Peter's, lots of restaurants close by & more importantly for the shoppers amongst us close to lots of nice shops. We've never had a bad experience, have found the rooms to be clean...

Stayed here with my sister for her fifieth birthday in late October and, having read mixed reviews on Tripadvisor; we were both pleasently surprised at this historical palestial accommodation at a very reasonable price. This was our seventh visit to Rome and I never imagined experiencing such graciously authentic Italian surroundings. Previously we stayed in a five star hotel and were...

Not what I was expecting, my room overlooked the ally at the back very tired , noisy & dingy perhaps because it was single occupancy , also on 2 consecutive nights no tonic in the bar did report it but nothing done about it , certainly overpriced won't be staying there again,

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
