Nicely situated on top of the Spanish Steps. We loved that we got connecting rooms which was very suitable to our family of 5. Clean room, Nice interiors and very comfortable mattress. There is individual airconditioner per room which allowed you to control room temperature.

Second time here and I'll return. European rooms in general are smaller than US hotels but the Scalinata di Spagna is perfect. Mossimo and Fabrizzio are the brothers who own and operate the hotel and they are charming, gracious hosts. This was my second stay with them and I'm more impressed than ever at this location. We could walk everywhere...

Our stay in Rome was brief, but memorable. The staff at Hotel Scalinata di Spagna were very helpful, polite, and friendly. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The location was perfect: very close to the Spanish Steps and the Metro station.

Very clean, large room for Europe (we had a queen & single bed), bathroom was spacious, free breakfast was a big plus, especially the coffee/caffé machine. All of the staff were very nice and accommodating. WiFi was slow by US standards. We would definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Rome.

We loved it. Although the room was a bit small, the comfortable beds, amenities provided free of charge, services and hospitality of staff and the location made it awesome place. Hotel provides free coffee 24/7 and a breakfast which is serviced on a lovely terrace. This was great. We will definitely return when in Rome

Room - very clean, modern, reasonable size, comfortable. Cost reasonable. Breakfast is simple but ranges from cereal to scrambled eggs and bacon. fruit salad was a bit too simple. You can get a tea and coffee all day long in the upstairs dining area. Outside deck eating was a pleasure. I went to a local supermarket and bought a prepackaged...

We have enjoyed a fun few days as a family--four adults and two kids, age 6 and 8--at Hotel Scalinata di Spagna. The location is amazing and the staff are beyond accommodating. Nice, clean rooms and breakfast on the rooftop garden in the morning. Up the hill is the Borghese park. Down the Spanish Steps are restaurants and shops. Close...
