Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are a bit dated but adequate enough, typical continental breakfast, but no bar.
If you want to visit central Rome you have to get a bus and the metro its around a 30 minute trip.
This was out third visit in the hotel and our last . Such a disapointment.
It used to be friendly and with good service. It is not so any more. They simply don't care. I guess that there are so many tourists in Rome that...More
The hotel has free parking....The personnel are very friendly and want you to have a good stay..the room was a good size room for 3 women....easy walking distance to the Old City.....breakfast had good variety.
I was spending 96 hours with my wife in Rome. Our highlight was a tour of the Vatican. I had looked for many months for a hotel fairly close and convenient and couldn't have been better served by staying at the Hotel Farnese. After I...More
loved this small exceptionally well run hotel, very old fashioned in its décor with high ceilings and panelled wood, a throwback to the 30/40s ( I think, but not an expert) a million light years away from the hotel chain accommodation but suited us perfectly,...More

Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
