This Hotel was in the best location, around the corner from the Spanish steps and a short walk to the Trevi fountain, We found the Hotel very quaint and clean with a nice cafe where we had breakfast every morning. We had the executive room which had a queen size bed ,nicely decorated and very clean. A pretty bathroom with bathtub,...

What a great little hotel and location! We have learned in 50 years of travel to aim for the best central location you can get for the price. This hotel is just perfectly situated. You can walk everywhere. No car necessary. Rome is our favourite city in the world. We have stayed in the hotel 2 times. Its not pretencious....

This is in a fabulous, upscale location on a pedestrian only street two blocks from the Spanish Steps & Via Condotti (Rome's Rodeo Dr). Hotel was recently remodeled but rooms are very small by American standards, average by European standards. Our party had 3 rooms and all the layouts were completely different. Generally very clean but there were dust bunnies...

We booked two rooms, one an executive suite and one a normal room. The executive suite was brand new, but the doors to the rooftop terrace wouldn't lock, and hotel management could not care less. The normal room was cramped. Advertised Internet access was non-existent since there wasn't actually a working RJ-45 socket in the room. Front desk staff were...

Traveling solo, I spent 4 nights at the Homs in early October. The location was perfect - a 2 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, shopping and terrific restaurants. The hotel itself was was persented and my room was lovely - freshly painted, new hardwood floors, a flat-screen TV at the foot of my single bed. The shower was a...

Family of 4 (2 male students) stayed at the Hotel for 5 nights (2 rooms). The Hotel is very close to all major attractions as it is close to the Spanish Steps. The rooms were clean and tidy and newly refurbished. Our room on the 3rd floor had a funny smell to it and they moved us immediately. They are...

Unbeatable location (around the corner from Spanish steps). Nice room, though very small. You'll walk all day in Rome so this is all you need -- a comfortable bed to collapse in. The cafe on the first floor made the best espresso drinks I've had :-) There was some construction going on out front but the windows did a reasonable...

This place is a great value. In a town where hotels are ridiculously expensive, this one was a gem. 4 stars, and worth it. We paid about 120 euros, which for this time of year was a steal. Hotel location is prime for Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, and shopping and food. It is on an alley, like most hotels, and...

Stayed a couple of nights at Homs hotel with two friends - it was challenging to find rooms in Rome that would accomodate three people... this property was available, affordable, and advertised a triple rate. We booked an "executive triple", but upon arrival it seemed more like a nice double with a rollaway bed added in the corner. The room...

To put this whole thing into context, the elavator was the nicest room we saw! The bedroom was barely bigger than the bed iteself. Even the porter wouldn't enter the room! Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
