Location is great. you can walk to almost everywhere, and it's very close to public transportation so getting to and from the airport is easy. Price is unbeatable for a comfortable - clean place. Double-glass window provided very good sound insulation - very useful, since it can get noisy at night. Breakfast was ok for us (but expect continental style)....

This hotel is in a great location for exploring the city. It's a 5-10 min walk to the Colosseum and a 15min walk to the Trevi Fountain. It was very clean and the the staff were very friendly and provided any information required. The only downside to the hotel is that the pillows were like bricks! All in all -...

For the price this hotel was great and included breakfast and the breakfast was quite nice for a complimentary breakfast. Also had a computer to use in lobby (for small fee). Staff was very friendly and the lobby is nice and pretty. My room was on top floor which was weird because last set of stairs after elevator was outside...

The staff was very friendly and many of them spoke english very well. The room and shower left much to be desired by American standards (large people could not shower here). Great location near lots of restaurants and shopping, very close to the Collisum. Breakfast Buffett left much to be desired.

We stayed in the Grifo in July '09 and '10. It has become our hotel of choice. I cannot understand the damning reviews, which is why I have written this belated review. The Grifo really tries. It has an old world politeness and attention to detail The hotel is modest, welcoming and comfortable. In '09 we had a room with...

I am shocked at the other positive reviews for this hotel. this hotel is the worst place I have ever seen. they take you across the road into a scary, cold, damp apartment block, make you carry your own luggage up two high flights of stairs, and then bring you into horrible, tiny room where you can hardly fully open...

Have you stayed in our hotel? we have no records of anyone who stayed in january and february from the location you declare. Though we believe this is a fake feedback, I'll take advantage to write that all of our guests have always carried their own luggage as we hane no porter service. The new rooms are 6 months old,...

We stayed for 2 nights at the Grifo hotel. The only things which were really good : the location, just few minutes from the Colosseum and from the metro stop Cavour 2) the staff, extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was very poor, the breakfast room very tiny, we could barely move and they were just few tables. The rooms were...

We are extremely sorry to read such a feedback. As you can read in all the following feedbacks, people are usually very satisfied of their stay in our Hotel. Most of the people love our breakfast, most of the people understand room dimensions are the right ones for the city centre. No one complains of heating We wish you to...

Concierge Alessandro constantly went out of his way to be incredibly helpful. His knowledgeable (and polite and cheerful) guidance about sightseeing is the best a tourist could ever ask for! The hotel is a great value! It's also very close to the Coliseum and the forum, as well as to bus lines that go to the train station and to...

After spending several hours and reviewing several hotels in Rome for the time we were staying, I chose the Hotel Grifo and glad I did. It was convenient to all of the ruins and sites of Central Rome. Most of all, the staff were all very kind and willing to help us. Our trip was delayed one day because of...
