Located in an unassuming side street one block from the Colosseum, this gem of a hotel greets you from the moment you step foot in it with an atmospheric baroque setting both warm and intriguing. Mosaic floors, tapestries, paintings all make you wonder if you...More
After missing flight, I took the chance to get a small neighborhood place. This hit the spot. Friendly staff, good nearby restaurant. The hotel artwork is sumptuous. The areas is near the Coliseum and lots to do..
Walking distance to major attractions, tons of restaurants , there is a rooftop seating and a small gym. Breakfast is good. Good Wifi . Has a very Roman feeling to the hotel which makes it very special. Front desk staff are very helpful.
-Hotel is very close to the Colosseum and the forum, if staying in that location is important to you.
-Beds were fine, room size (except bathroom) was fine. The decor was interesting if you enjoy the mosaics and style in the photographs.
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
I don't believe so, although it's very close it's within (inside) the block and not on the external part of the block. Also it's the 2nd block up from the coliseum. But it's the closest hotel that you'll probably get.
