This hotel is great for the oloseum and the metro/tram so is great for getting around. The classy way the hotel is decorated is impressive. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast served in a covered courtyard, a , lovely coffee and fresh croissants/rolls. If you have walked you feet off, there is a great restaurant just...

Had a superior single room on the first floor and it was very quiet and had good (and extremely quiet) air-conditioning which is always a good benefit when it is so warm. The bed was large and very comfortable. I was very happy with the location being near several good restaurants and accessible by various bus routes for exploring further...

We stayed here for 3 days & loved it. First off the location is unbeatable, you can literally see the coliseum from the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and nice sized, the breakfast was great and the staff very helpful. They charged $75 for a shuttle to & from the airport which was a little pricey in my opinion, but...

Hotel is very close to colosseum. Being on the East side, it is however further away to the other attractions in the city, so prepare your walking shoes. As I was coming with my car in Rome, I choose this hotel for ease of access and parking availability. Although the hotel has no parking, there are parking spots around. The...

This gem of a hotel is in a central location within 2 minutes walk of the colosseum and various restaurants. The rooms are large and clean and beautifully decorated. The roof top terrace is a sanctuary after a day walking around the historical sights. The staff at breakfast were courteous and helpful as was Roberto, the owner. We have no...

We enjoyed our stay here, can walk to main attractions or take Hop On Hop Off bus. Plenty of restaurants, bars and a grocery shop nearby for essentials. The Hotel has beautiful decor, is comfy and we were fortunate enough to have a courtyard. Roberto and staff were very helpful and friendly and can arrange tours for you. I'd definitely...

We spent 5 nights in this hotel at the beginning of June. The hotel is in a fabulous central location just down the road from the colosseum, handy for local transport & only a 5 minute walk from the metro. The hotel is decorated in a Renaissance style with beautiful mosaic floors, sumptuous fabric wall coverings & soft furnishings. The...

We dropped by chance in this hotel and it was a great surprise. Everything is excellent and the personnel treated us very well, like we were family. We felt like home. Breakfast is very good and sufficient (coffee was exquisite!). We had the terrace suite and the view is fabulous. Our stay in Rome was wonderful, with the important contribution...

We were 2 couples staying in Rome for a weekend. We wanted a good location but not in a very busy touristy area, comfy beds for a good night's sleep, proximity to good restaurants and bars. Celio is a short walk from many sights - Colosseum, Forum, Domus Aurea, St Clemente, Sta Maria Maggiore etc. It is a 20 minute...

One street away from the Colloseum, the hotel doesn't look much from the outside. However inside it has mosaic floors and good quality Italian furniture which gives it plenty of character and a strong Italian feel. The owner, Roberto, is very helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. The room itself was fairly small but had a spa...
