We stayed in the hotel from the 10th of June until the 13th of june. It is a lovely little romantic hotel with an excellent location. Only 2 blocks away from the Colloseum. The service is excellent and although the rooms where not that big they had everything you need (including minibar and valuable airconditioning) We heard some bad stories...

Wonderful small, service-oriented hotel in a quite residential area two blocks from the Colloseum and other Ancient Rome sites. Several great, inexpensive restaurants frequented by locals are nearby. Roberto and his staff were most helpful. Our luxuriously decorated rooftop room was surrounded by lush potted plants and had a garden view of the Colloseum. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for two evenings recently. The hotel is small and very charming. It's evident that Roberto (the proprietor) takes great pride in his hotel and has put forth much effort. Our room was small (not a surprise in Rome), but clean and tastefully decorated. Our bathroom was VERY small but we were fortunate to have a door in...

The hotel is well situated in the ancient section of Rome. When you walk out of the hotel each day, you look down the street at the Coloseum. That, and the Roman Forum are both just a couple of blocks away from the hotel. The hotel is tranquil but just a short walk to the activity. We spent eight nights...

Rome has everything you need for the romantic holiday and Hotel Celio provides the icing on the cake. The place is unique with maticulous attention to detail. The roof garden is a perfect hideaway after a long day of sight seeing with gorgeous views across the roof tops. Roberto and his team ensure that you have privacy but will give...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Celio for five nights last month and couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel has a small scale, which I like, is in a very quiet neighborhood, is perfectly clean, has modern bathrooms that actually provide an excellent shower, and, via the omnipresent Roberto, gives excellent service on taxis, advice, reservations, etc....
