Yes, bedrooms are small and the bathrooms are small. You can always stay at the Hyatt if you plan to do more than sleep and tend to personal needs in your room. I give this location, location, location a 5 because, well, location. You can virtually walk to most of the sights to see, shop, eat and people-watch from this...

Booked this via booking.com which cites it as a 3* hotel. The plaque out the front, on the lift, and the front door say 2*. Had to ask reception to change rooms immediately because the 1st room they assigned was significantly below the quality indicated in pictures. Even the best available room we then received wasn't like the pictures. Rooms...

We stayed here for 4 nights and were sooo well looked after! Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was quiet, very comfy & good size, and good bathroom with shower and bath. Very central, near to Trevi fountain & Spanish steps, and walking distance to Colosseum etc (Vatican a metro away). Initially surprised to find this was just a...

When I travel, I always ensure that there were tea and coffee making facilities in the hotel room. When I read the trip advisor reviews, there was mention of it and also a room that extends out to the balcony. But not knowing that not all rooms had such tea and coffee making facilities, I opted for the room that...

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. It was very clean and very quiet. Our room was newly renovated and had everything we needed. The staff was very helpful, spoke wonderful English, and couldn't have been nicer! We enjoyed the breakfast and the cappucino! Great location to walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona. I wish...

What a great place. The location was convenient. The cold breakfast buffet was varied, plentiful and good. The room was comfortable though the shower was quite small. Our room opened on to the rooftop patio. So nice. Reasonably priced.

I had to reread these reviews after I got home, wondering if I stayed in the same place. The location is really perfect, and that is the draw. Start with that it is extremely hard to find and not well marked. You walk into a courtyard (usually with bags of garbage tied up), find a little hallway, take a tiny...

This is a great value for money hotel in the heart of Rome. It is close to all main attractions. We had a newly renovated room which was nice and clean. The breakfast served was generous and nice. The lift to get to the room is smalland slow and it can be frustrating at times with 3 young kids. Service...

Slightly quirky, very well located hotel - easy walking to main sights, main fashion shopping area and restaurants. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Met several return visitors. Sole warning - lift access limited so not suitable for wheelchair-bound or those with difficulty scaling stairs.

We loved staying at Hotel Parlamento! The staff were friendly and helpful, pricing was very reasonable considering we stayed here during the peak season and the location was perfect for us to walk to every major sight without needing to use buses. Rooms are small but clean and very comfortable and had such character and charm. I would recommend anyone...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
