Initially a bit worried as we were taken to a completely separate building and walked though a courtyard up steps to what could only be described as a converted apartment, where we were shown to one of the rooms. The rooms were very clean but a little dark and secluded, maybe because...

Very comfortable hotel. Very good location. Very good breakfast. Staff is helpful and speak English. Ideal hotel for people who wants me to visit and explore Rome. Very small rooms, the floor is tiled, not carpeted. This creates a little discomfort.

The location is good but the rooms are so much different than you expect...no heating in the room, only AC that makes a terrible noise while sleeping , so you have two choices: freeze or stay awake. The wi fi sometimes working, sometimes don't, the breakfast...terrible !!! The people working there from the reception to the cleaning service are pleaseant....

We stayed in that hotel for 4 days as Rome was our 1st stop during our 2 week round Italy trip. We chose that hotel as it was really close to the central station Termini of Rome and you could go anywhere from there. The location was ideal with a lot of restaurants and shops around, the staff was proffessional...

Located closer to the trail way station and basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Convenient location with restaurant around. But rooms are pretty small and good was really basic. Good for a short stay like a day or 2.

Location- the location is ok, very close to termini station which was good to get round the city and easy from the airport. The area itself was a bit shabby and I would choose another area as there's so many people watching everything you do. I think it's definitely pick pocket central. There are some lovely resteraunts about the area...

Would definitely go and stay there again. Very impressive lobby area - efficient staff who were courteous and friendly - even though we were given a Room overlooking a busy street, we had no issues with noise etc. It was clean, bright, spacious, & well decorated. There were many restaurants and cafes around also good for shopping. Termini station was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
