Location, service, comfort. This two floor hotel in an old palazzo has it all! 8-9 minutes from the Pantheon. 8-10 minutes from the Spanish Steps in one direction and Piazza Novana in another. Pretty rooms, notable heat and water pressure in the shower. Wonderful breakfast. We will recommend to friends and stay here for sure on our next visit.

This is our second stay at the Hotel Fontanella Borghese and it was just as lovely as the first! This hotel is our only choice for Roma, the location is unbeatable, we walked everywhere. The staff is so courteous and helpful. The front desk is amazing, kind, knowledgeable and personal. Love the Hotel Fontanella Borghese!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 10 days in April of 2017. Pros: 1. Location simply can't be beat. Central to nearly every, major attraction. Twenty minute walk to Vatican, 10 to Spanish Steps, etc. 2. Grocery store across the street and another five minutes walk away. 3. Clean, nicely furnished rooms. 4. Very friendly and helpful...

This hotel is ideally situated within Rome. Within easy walking distance of all major attractions, the staff were warm and welcoming. The breakfast was nice and beds were comfy. Only reason I've given it 4 stars is you can here the sounds from other rooms clearly.

My first visit to Hotel Fontanella Borghese was 16 yrs ago. It has maintained its charm, friendliness and cleanliness. From the professional courtesy of the front desk staff to the cleanliness and efficiency of the rooms, plus the ideal location, this hotel is a great value. I stayed at this fine hotel when I arrived in Italy. My plane was late so I arrived at the hotel after midnight. Once I figured out where the intercom was outside the hotel I was buzzed in, a little surreal due to jet lag and my inexperience with Europe. Check in was efficient. The staff was very friendly and...

Small-scale hotel in the middle of town at walking distance from all historical monuments and the Vatican and in the middle of the shopping area. Ideal location. Friendly lady-owner and personnel. Only minor point: the breakfast should have a wider choice. Nevertheless: warmly recommended. Ann, Flanders, Belgium
