We stayed here as a family of 5 in August 2016 and found the apartment very spacious and beautifully decorated - more traditional with lots of antiques and sofas in the bedrooms as well as comfortable beds. We also had terraces of each bedroom which we used for evening drinks after major walking around all the sights in the day....

I read the reviews here and decided to risk it even though winter was coming and there were talks of dodgy heating... I bought my own socks and an extra jumper and I didn't need either of them until I reluctantly left the Villa to visit Rome... Perfectly warm inside and charming.. But mostly WOW. What an incredible place to...

We would like to thank the writers of this review which , considering the spurious comments about us which seem to have been posted in the past seems to us to be completely objective and fair It was kind to take the trouble and set the record straight These guests have only just left after a two week stay during...

Villa Habsburg We stayed at Villa Habsburg for 14 nights from 7th-20th September 2014. Previous TripAdvisor reports are deeply divided; some people loved their stay, others hated it. There are several flats, so views probably depended upon which flat they were in. Obviously I can only speak of the flat we had, Flat No 1, which was a disaster, and...

Beautiful house and magnificent grounds. Considering the age of the house it was in beautiful condition. The staff were excellent and available whenever we needed them. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Tried to rent one of the rooms at the Villa, but all of them were fully booked. We were offered the Gatehouse as this was available for the dates that suited our travels in Rome, We were told this accommodation had been recently done-up. Re-decorated and was in tip-top condition. We got to the Gatehouse opened the door and the...

Title: Gatehouse - House of horrors!! I booked this for myself , husband and daughter having been told it had recently been refurbished. Having stayed in the main house twice in the past, I assumed it would be of similar standard. Unfortunately as soon as we opened the door the smell of dampness hit us. There were spiders webs with...

We had such a great holiday in Rome, not only due to the magnificence of the city itself but also being able to relax in a wonderful space...gazing up at splendid ceilings, down at beautiful floors or out at gardens which truly inspired me..not to mention beds that were so comfortable, each day we resurfaced ready to walk the streets of...

We thought this family - all six of them were just such nice guests, always smiling always happy lively, (four!) well behaved children, playing, chattering , just enjoying themselves on a fun holiday - after which they left the place impeccable ! We hope to see them and their friends again, meanwhile we are happy our feelings were mutual!

This damp smelly flea infested place is a horrible place to stay. Bitten to pieces from the bugs/fleas from the old furniture and bedding. BIG MISTAKE. Oh and by the way a taxi is €30 from the airport so don't be conned to get the private driver!!

I am a bit lost to answer this as I seriously believe it is a case of misattribution of irritation .This is medically recognised phenomen One is upset about something and blames something else The fact is I have honestly never seen a flea in the gatehose in my life .If I had I wod have drenched myself in AUTAN...

I would like to describe my marvellous time at this wonderful villa, lasting a full four weeks in September 2013. Having stayed a longer period of time than perhaps the average guest, my insights are, I believe, particularly reliable, since I was able to enjoy the villa's consistently well-managed ambiance and upkeep versus reporting the details and impressions of, say,...
