I found this little gem in 2010, returned in April 2016 & again in April 2017!! Excellent location for your base; termini rail station a 3 minute walk; many Resturants, shops & supermarkets nearby. The staff is caring, helpful & professional. I will absolutely recommend Hotel Robinson!!!

This hotel is very well situated right next to the Termini train station. While the room is not very large, it has everything you need including a mini fridge. The staff are very friendly and helpful with directions to the major sights. There are several restaurants nearby as well as small grocery stores for picnic supplies and beer/wine.

Thank you so much for having appreciated and enjoyed our hospitality. Fortunately we have guests like you that give satisfaction to our work. We stayed here our last two nights in Italy for a compressed visit to Rome before flying home. The location can not be better for train, metro, and bus travel. The room was small, but very clean, tastefully decorated and a comfortable bed. And quiet! There is someone at the desk 24 hours a day. The breakfast is coffee and...

Stayed here oct 2015 for 3 nights and found this hotel an excellent base and value. Just 5 minutes from the termini station with plenty of shops restaurants and bars. This is just a basic hotel to sleep and to refresh. Room was spacious, en-suite bathroom, T.V and clean. No thrills. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a cafe...

My wife and I booked 2 nights at the Hotel Robinson on a recommendation from the Rick Steves guide book. It was recommended for it's close location to the train station and low fares. Pros: Convenient location close to public transportation, clean and quiet room with a bowl of fresh fruit, very friendly/helpful staff with at least one person that...

Thank you for your review, and I am very sorry not to have met all his expectations. I'm sorry if the bath measure could have given her a negative perception, but what and 'due to the fact that, being an old building in the heart of Rome, are not possible many structural changes. The measures are the standard of the...

This hotel is run by a very nice family. It is very hard for me to be critical, but I would not stay here again. The lobby is basicly their living room. They have dogs, which may be a surprise to some visitors. The rooms are very small, but they are nice. It is near the train station and my...

When we got to the hotel we were told that we'd have to pay 15 euros if we wanted air conditioning when the website told us that all rooms had it. When we did manage to get to sleep despite the heat we'd often be woken up by shouting outside or barking dogs. Our bathroom window also didn't shut which...

People here are friendly and helpful, but the room was really tight and I kept thinking I would bump my head on the overhead TV every time I rounded the end of the bed! The bed was very short for my tall friend. The air con worked, but leaked and we needed to keep getting towels to soak up water....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
