Hotel Domus Julia was a lot of fun. We spent 3 nights and loved the location but above all was the BF- It was rich and filling and we looked forward to it everyday. I omly wished they served it longer as we usually had late nights and had to wake up earlier than we wanted to make it for...

We stayed with 2 children ages 10 & 13 for 4 days in July. The room was spacious, clean and the location was quiet. Our family enjoyed the proximity to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Barberini subway stop was a short 3 minute walk. The staff was helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Breakfast was...

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful Italian vacation. We spent two nights at Domus Julia in Rome. The room was spacious, clean, in a great central location, and the staff were very helpful. Our room had a queen size bed and cost 165 Euro/night. I would highly recommend Domus Julia!

Stayed nine people for the New Year's Eve at the Domus Julia apartments. Everything was fantastic: the place, the furniture, the location, maintenance, staff, etc. Rosa did her utmost to keep us happy and we did appreciate all the flexibility and good advices that all the personnel offered to us. The appartment is right next door the hotel in a...

Stayed here September 22-25. The room was far bigger than we had expected, very clean, friendly staff and nice breakfast all helped make it a memorable trip. Excellent location, very close to the Trevi Fountains and Barberini Metro station, plus lots of great places to eat. Not the cheapest place in Rome to stay, but this is five star accomodation...

Domus Julia is a great value and nice little hotel. It’s the apartment annex to the Hotel Julia, so you check in and have breakfast buffet at the hotel, which includes warm boiled eggs, sliced ham, croissants, cereals, yoghurt, capuccino. It is a fine little place, in a great location, at a very reasonable price. We had a double/twin room,...

We were booked into this hotel by a travel agent. The location is a 15 minute walk to anything. Hotel staff was any thing but helpful. We had no hot water for the first day. The breakfast consisted of old pastries and juice that was foaming. To enter your rooms, you exit the hotel onto the street and use one...

We stayed at the Domus Julia for 4 nights. The positives: the room was very clean, the personnel were mostly helpful, the location is excellent, the breakfast good. Negatives: the air conditioning remote control(necc. for its operation) had been removed and was never found (it wasn't "hot" to the Italians, so they apparently didn't think we should need the a/c);...

In October 2005 we stayed in Room 11 at Domus Julia , which is adjacent to Hotel Julia, where the front desk, little bar, and breakfast room are located. The room was spacious, clean, well furnished, air conditioned and comfortable. The street below was noisy but with the window closed at night it was not a problem. The bathroom was...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

“There are no screens, and if it's late spring or summer you'll have to have the windows open in the early evening. Since there are big streets near, the noise will be audible with windows open. Mosquitos will also be an issue if you open the windows before you turn out your light. There's green coils available in markets nearby, ask for assistance at the desk. NBD.”
