Nice hotel, a little dated but clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to Via Veneto and Villa Borghese, plus within walking distance of many popular attractions. This hotel is always one of my top choices in Rome.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in the right place. The front desk was manned (womanned?) by Ginevra who was outstanding. She is smart, beautiful, welcoming. When Marco was there it was the same. The hotel is on a quiet street, but just near the 24-hr hop-on, hop-off buses. What a perk. The neighborhood is near to...

My partner and I, located and booked this hotel about a week prior to arriving in Rome at peak season .. Rome was still bustling with heaps of tourists and warm (some might say too hot for them ).. Our first impressions of this hotel is its size ... It's what I would describe as a smaller boutique hotel .....

I highly recommend this hotel and will go back for sure. Staff were very helpful and always in a good mood. Rooms were clean and no noise. Breakfast was great with a lot of choices and the best was the location. Extremely practical. Right the middle of everything. On the Sunday we checked out but were allowed to leave our...

This hotel was not a 4 star hotel. House keeping and hygiene were disgraceful. We refused to stay here and moved on to another hotel. As we did not stay because of the issues above I can not comment on how the hotel is run. For us this was not an acceptable Hotel. The location was in fact very good.

this is overall a nice hotel well connected to the metro and walking distance to some of the major sights we booked a superior room and glad we did don't think standard would have suited us, avoid the room on the ground floor by the public toilets/lift/bar (surrounded by all this) no views from our windows just 3 other rather...

The hotel has much of the charm that you expect from Italian hotels, front of house staff are as helpful and polite as any you will meet anywhere , but the general appearance is beginning to look tired. The rooms are comfortable but again starting to look in need of refreshing , aircon was great as it was very hot....

Great place to stay in Rome. Convenient location which made it easy to get to lots of things! Staff way very friendly and extremely helpful. Clean rooms and good breakfast every morning. During our trip we celebrated a special anniversary for our family and the staff graciously provided us with appetizers and treats during our champagne toast. A great place...

And in the morning & in the evening you get to enjoy a perfectly lovely street surrounded by trees and great restaurants ... The staff were incredible ... Especially the lovely Ginevra... She...

The hotel is generally ok for the price it is charging. Location is safe and 10 minutes walk from the Barberini Metro (subway) Station - but with a stair of some 20-steps. It is not situated in a major road and the side streets can be quite dark at night, the neighbourhood is quite safe. Accommodation, room decor, breakfast and...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
