We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and found it very charming and centrally located. The staff were especially helpful with directions and with our decisions on how best to get around the beautiful city of Rome. They were friendly and always had a smile for us. The morning breakfasts, included in the price, were a delight, very tasty....

We had taken great care in choosing the hotel to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary in and were not disappointed. Our Rome adventure began with our being collected from the airport by their private driver, Alessandro, who, en route to our hotel, gave us a wonderful guided tour of Rome. On arrival we received an extremely warm welcome, with an...

The best city hotel we have stayed in. Room 102 was very nice. Happy hour 6 to 10 pm 50% off bar bill and free food on the bar! sandwich! sausage rolls and nibbles. All with a smile. The best cocktails we have ever had. The wife wants to go back now. We are retired couple.

Our recent visit to River Palace Hotel, found the staff very accommodating and friendly even helping our friends, who were staying at a different hotel, locate their hotel and provided a map with directions. Rooms were small but very well appointed, bed was comfortable and room was quiet considering we were on the road side of the building. Location was...

My luggage didn't arrive on the same aircraft as me so we waited until it did. Upon arrival at the hotel the staff expressed concern as they had expected us earlier. Check in was efficient and Francesca took extra time to explain the services of the hotel and provided a map of the City and the local area including some...

Like others mentioned, the room sizes are standard for Europe. That said, the place was very nice. Only two blocks from the walls of Rome and super place to begin and end the day. Service is wonderful. Decent wi-fi thru out the hotel. Nice selection of channels on the TV including many in English. Like the bar on-site for that...

We have just spent four nights here and we really enjoyed it. The staff are so helpful and are always available to answer any queries. As documented previously the rooms are small - but very clean and to be honest how much time do you spend in the room on a City Break - we just slept and showered. The...

We just stayed there for two nights. We were very impressed from the beginnig. The employees are very nice and helpful. The two elevators up to the 6th floor was a bit annoying, but we got used to it. The breakfast is great-lots of selections. The rooms were clean. They will leave you a card at the end of the...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
