We found this hotel on a search website, and having never been to Rome before relied heavily on reviews for location. The location is ideal. Just a 3 minute walk to the local metro stop. The metro rail/bus cards are really cheap. The hotel was brilliant with communication both before we got there, and once we arrived. We hadn't booked...

We had a garden room, meaning we had to walk through the side entrance, through the garden that was filled with statues and busts. Just walking to the room felt like being in a museum. The room was kind of small, the bed was two twins put together (very common in Italy) but it had everything we needed. We stayed...

Excellent hotel with very reasonable prices. Our room and especially the bathroom were very spacious. It was the nicest bathroom we had on our entire trip to Italy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. Although not in the city center it is a short walk to the metro and there are plenty of...

Although the hotel is right on Via Aurelia, we stayed in one of the rooms at the rear ground floor level of the hotel which was quiet & beautifully arranged. In-room safe & fantastic shower. Very comfortable bed. Whole hotel was spotlessly clean! The staff were very helpful & breakfast plentiful - selection of hot buffet, cereals, fruit, croissants etc....

We stayed here four nights. Beautiful sculptures throughout this fine hotel, located on busy street. Our up-to-date rooms in the rear of the hotel were quiet and had nice, little patio areas. Firm beds. Good breakfast with selection of eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries and hot beverages. Short walk to Metro. But the best was Renata, our front desk hostess, who...

We loved it and wish we stayed longer. Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Helped us this directions, the Metro, get a taxi, with our luggage, recommended a fantastic but inexpensive restaurant. Very nice room, large modern bathroom and great hotel and room security features.

Clean, friendly, and unique. Not a Hilton or Sheraton type of stay. Very clean and comfortable. Location is close to metro (5 minutes) and a 30 minute (all downhill) walk to the Vatican. Breakfast fits everyone ones needs from carnivore to vegan. I would come back.

This is a lovely, quirky, stylish, comfortable place and a bargain! Near Metro Cornelia - a short walk and the 24 hour ticket is very cheap, offering unlimited travel on local bus and train. Even though its on the very busy Viale Aurelia, it is remarkably quiet and a great refuge from the bustle of Rome. The staff are wonderfully...

Stayed at the Hotel Aurelius late September for four days. Hotel is beautiful inside, decorated with busts and statues of ancient Romans. Staff speaks English well and was very helpful, helping to print airline boarding passes and concert tickets. 24 hour staff always at the desk. Rooms are quiet, set back in private alcoves with small, intimate outdoor areas where...
