This hotel has benefit in being close to Rome’s central (Termini) station. The rooms are clean and quite reasonable value for money. We had breakfast included in our deal and they put on a very good spread particularly if you’re in to pastries as they...More
I cannot really comprehend how on Earth this hotel can have 4 stars?! National stars? it only means that the Italian rating system is a joke! The hotel is totally run-down. Needs urgently SOME renovation! Any would do. The room itself - apart from the...More

Just back from staying at Hotel Luce for four nights. Situated very close to Terminii Station which means it is handily situated for striking out to the various landmarks in Rome. Personally found the hotel to be clean, and room more than suitable for our...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

It's 1 minute away from termini station where you would be able to take the metro to the Vatican, it's definitely not walking distance. As far other attractions, maybe a 30 or 40 minute walk to the coliseum and possibly a 25 minute walk to Spanish steps and trevi fountain if you're walking fast.
