My friend and I visited the hotel in march 2017. The hotel location is fantastic about 2 minutes away from termini station and around a 20 minute walk to the colosseum. We walked nearly everywhere but the hotel would serve as a good base for transport as it's so close to termini. The rooms are small but clean and there...

We were booked to stay at sister hotel Noto, but they told us 'there was a problem with our room' so they sent us to hotel Luce. Generally the room was super small and dark. Warm water was never warm and there was no internet connection in the room. Breakfast very very poor and bad quality. Coffe from the machine...

My partner originally booked for Hotel Noto but upon arrival we were told that we were going to need to stay in their sister hotel,Hotel Luce. Upon arrival we found the hotel room to be on the small side for 2 people, although was clean and tidy. There was no tea/coffee facilities in the room and the wifi only worked...

I was originally scheduled to stay in Hotel Regio but they moved us to another of their hotel because of an issue in the bathroom. It was a 7 or 8 blocks walk which is not much but when you are tired from traveling it seems like a long walk. At the end it was better to had been moved...

A very reasonably priced hotel two minutes walk from the main train station Termini. Comfortable clean rooms, classically decorated and modern showers. Breakfast is okay. Definitely the most well priced hotel in Rome.!

My mum and visited Rome at the beginning or March 2017. We was meant to be staying at hotel Lazio but was moved to hotel Luce as the water was not running at Lazio. Hotel Luce is not your typical modern hotel (which I would usually go for). However, it is a beautiful traditional Italian hotel! The rooms were small...

Just spent four nights at this hotel and would echo a lot of reviews already posted. However, this is not Four star accomodation. Having said that I would thoroughly recommend it for a short stay, it is excellently located for access to transport links to the usual tourist sights. Many restaurants within five minute walk. The hotel staff friendly and...

Me and my husband have stayed at Hotel Luce one week. The ecxperience wasnt what we had ecxpected. Small roms, tiny ridicolous shower bath, poor breakfast and unfriendly stuff. We saw a young lady serving the breakfast in a angry face as if she really didnt like her job and even bother to greet and to pay back a simple...

I have stayed at Hotel Luce twice. Its location near the Termini rail station is a plus. I am not sure that it warrants its 4 star rating, but there is nothing wrong with it! Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
