Just spent four nights at this hotel and would echo a lot of reviews already posted. However, this is not Four star accomodation. Having said that I would thoroughly recommend it for a short stay, it is excellently located for access to transport links to...More

Me and my husband have stayed at Hotel Luce one week. The ecxperience wasnt what we had ecxpected. Small roms, tiny ridicolous shower bath, poor breakfast and unfriendly stuff. We saw a young lady serving the breakfast in a angry face as if she really...More

This hotel is very close to there termini in rome, so ideal to hop on and off the trains or subway lines, and so close to all the food you could ever want!

I have stayed at Hotel Luce twice. Its location near the Termini rail station is a plus. I am not sure that it warrants its 4 star rating, but there is nothing wrong with it! The single rooms are very small, but have all the...More
My trip started with a few days in Rome, taking a train south, and coming back by train. Opted for this hotel because it is 1 block away from the Termini. GREAT location, since it is easy to walk around tourist areas, metro is also...More
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
Hi, I'm not sure if there is parking facilities as we got the tram from the airport, so might be worth contacting the hotel but it is very close to the main road. It is only one road behind the main road. Hope that helps

It's 1 minute away from termini station where you would be able to take the metro to the Vatican, it's definitely not walking distance. As far other attractions, maybe a 30 or 40 minute walk to the coliseum and possibly a 25 minute walk to Spanish steps and trevi fountain if you're walking fast.
