Our stay was somewhat of a last choice. It is not great, but not the worst place I have ever stayed. One warning before you read anything else; If you are a person of any size or stature and need to take showers, do not stay at this hotel. Even though the sg ft/m3 of the bathrooms is large by...

Disappointed with the service & quality of Hotel Paris. For the price you pay, you're really only paying for the location of the hotel. The building had a bad odour that seemed to make us all cough a lot! The shower leaked throughout the bathroom and the shower screen was cracked, mould was also seen in the shower (gross!) The...

Absolutely terrible!!! Don't even bother booking this hotel. Save your money and go somewhere else. From hotel rooms to staff, everything was nasty about this place. Never ever going back to Hotel Paris.

We stayed here in a family room for 4 nights. We got this hotel through booking with hotwire.com (its an opaque site where the name of the hotel is revealed after payment). Whilst we got a good saving, I feel very sorry for people that pay the regular price and stay here.... The only good thing about the hotel is...

Wallpaper was falling off the wall in our room along with mold growing in the shower. One day during our four day stay, there was no maid service. We needed more toilet paper so we inquired at the front desk. The guy at the desk didn't seem to care, in fact he didn't even look up from the work he...

This was the dirtiest hotel, no air conditioning, no offer to switch rooms, no hot water in the morning and no one seemed to be able to do anything about any of it. Gave us a room with someone else's luggage in it…. where do i stop?? It is the worst with customer service..

The services are good and the rooms are too good. The place is good and the photographers should come, see and explore the true beauty. I am a photographer, and I had every chance to take pictures from every angle and I also had unlimited places and things to capture it in my cam :) I had a great time...

Visited this small and lovely hotel with my newly wed wife at November 2011. Before arriving, I was looking for a place located well enough at the centre of Rome and within walking distance from major spots as well as from train station. All this found here! Roma Centrale train station is 300 meters away, old ruins reacheable within 15...

We came to this hotel for a week. I read on their website that they have an aircondition, a fridge and wifi. In the first room we had fridge and wifi but not hot water to shower. In the second room we had hot water but we didn't had wi fi or fridge. In both rooms we didn't had airconditioner...

The hotel was very centrally located, close to bus, subway and train station. You can also walk to many attractions from the hotel. The staff were ok. Breakfast was ok, we had better in Florence and even in Venice. The rooms are not very clean and our room only had a large tub, no shower. We really didn't want to...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
