My husband and I stayed at Residenza dei Gracchi for our first 2 nights in Rome, prior to this trip (which was a last minute trip) I was not very familiar with the city of Rome I quickly learned that although Rome is a large city it can be conqured by walking or using the Metro system. all in all...

My friend and I stayed at RDG in August. We were just in Rome for a few days after a long trip throughout Italy and this was our last stop. We were very happy with our choice to stay at RDG. It was very clean, quiet and the air conditioning was a blessing during the hot weather!! There was free...

Located near St. Peters, Vatican and the Ottaviano metro, RDG was quite a find. We had left our rome bookings till the last minute and were looking for a hotel close to the attractions. Most hotels in the area were sold out, we chanced upon RDG which seemed like a good option but we were little skeptical as all the...

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in October 2012. It's a nice, quiet and clean B&B close to the Vatican and about 5 minutes walk from the nearest Metro. The owner picked us up at the airport and was friendly and more than happy to assist us with our sight-seeings. Comes with free breakfast and WiFi. Will definitely...

This review is not going to be long, but very clear: if you're looking for a place to stay in Rome, consider this residence. It's located in a quiet street just a few minutes walking from the Ottaviano metro station, and also very close to the Vatican, Castle of Angels, etc. The owner is a very nice guy, you have...

My wife and I made a stop in Rome for 4 nights in August and chose Residenza dei Gracchi to stay. This B&B is in a great location right next to the Vatican. It's a short walk to St. Peter's Church and from there you can walk from one famous place to the next all throughout the center of Rome....

Great location. Situated in the quiet Via dei Gracchi, within five minutes walking distance from the entrance to the Vatican Museums and Saint Peter's Square. Centro storico, across the river Tiber, is easy to get to on foot as well. Our air-conditioned room was small, but neat and clean, and had all the facilities one could wish for. Good atmosphere....

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
