We stayed 4 nights at the Relais Giulia and were really happy with our choice. It was well located for everything, within easy walking distance of all major attractions, particularly close to the Vatican and Piazza Navona and about 30 mins walk from the Colosseum....More
We spent 5 days in this wonderful little hotel, it was simply perfect. Right in the heart of Rome only 10 mins walk across the Tiber to the Vatican and situated in a quiet street within an artisan village. Just ideal for us, small bars,...More

This one is really a treasure. We felt like we were perfectly situated for all of our tourist stops as well as shopping and restaurants. We actually took a shuttle bus from the airport that dropped us off a half mile away and it was...More
The hotel was delightful, helpful staff, comfy bed, cosy decor and everything you might need. The location was spot on, ten minutes from Campo di Fiori which had a dozen or so nice restaurants, ten minutes from the Vatican, and easy strolling distance to everything...More
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.

We stayed at Relais Giulia in November before our cruise. I found on internet a shuttle that cost us each 40 euros which is cheaper than what the cruise companies charge. We found it was a good price. If you take a taxi from the Hotel, then the train then another taxi to the cruise ship I'm quite sure it would be more expensive
