My husband an I stayed at the Daphne Inn Trevi from September 30 to October 7. Having used Trip Advisor as my resource to book this accommodation I feel it is only fair to give our feedback also. Everything we read about the Daphne Inn was true and all of the reviews I read were very objective and pointed out...

This is easily the best hotel we've stayed in during our three trips to Rome. The staff were extremely helpful when we booked (via e mail). During our stay they gave us superb, professional service whilst remaining friendly and informal. All spoke excellent English. We were loaned a mobile phone so we could call them at any time. They willingly...

Our Italian honeymoon got off to a great start when my husband and I stayed at the Daphne Trevi for 3 nights in late June. After doing a lot of research on the best places to stay in Rome at the best rate, we decided on the Trevi. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. All the positive...

Fantastic location - right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Rome, but we were never disturbed by any noise at night. The rooms are really generous - ours included a safe, a fridge, a sofa, a dressing table, a wardrobe, bedside tables, soft lighting, lovely bed linen, cushions and pillows, and a really comfy bed. There are...

We booked our 4-night stay at the Daphne Inn as part of our honeymoon after reading the many positive reviews on this site. Carl greeted us and gave us an overview of the city, pointing out some of his favorite restaurants (all of which were great and exactly what we wanted). When we went into our room, there was a...

Most of the praises for this place have already been sung. It was really wonderful. However, as my husband noted it's really more of a B and B and not a full hotel with all the bells and whistles. But the location and service really made up for any of that.

This small home away from home in the middle of busy Rome is a fabulous find. The young staff were super friendly and enthusiastic, the rooms and bathrooms beautifully clean and very stylish, and the breakfasts served in the small communal dining area were delicious and generous. We shared a room with our 11 year old daughter, and while the...

The knowledgeable English speaking staff offers excellent guidance for your trip in Rome. This is the place we would want to return to on our next trip to Rome. The location couldn’t be better. The Metro and Taxi stand are ½ block away. It’s a fabulous location for walking all over the city. They will call a taxi for you...

All the glowing reports here are true so I don't need to add anything. However I want to share how the wonderful staff helped us solve a problem to illustrate that nothing, NOTHING, seems to be beyond the call of duty for the owners and staff at Daphne. We were arriving in Rome from Maratea in the south of Italy....

Booked a two night post-cruise stay at the Daphne Inn Trevi after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor. Immediately upon booking here, I received very helpful e-mails from the staff with suggested itineraries and tour information. They graciously booked a wonderful Icon Tour of Ancient Rome for us as well as secured a time slot for us to visit...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Daphne is a unique way to stay in Rome: We combine elegant accommodations at affordable rates, with a highly personalized service, to provide you with a more complete travel experience. Daphne is just what a top-notch, urban, B&B ought to be: spotless, air-conditioned rooms, really comfortable beds, and a great location -- right in the historic center of Rome, just minutes on foot from the Trevi Fountain. You will find fresh fruit and pastries with your coffee in the morning, wireless Internet service, a cell phone to use during your visit with us, and plenty of advice on where to go and what to see in Rome. We focus on customer service, not on expensive lobbies and unnecessary extras. Daphne Trevi is on a quiet side street, about 2- minute's walk from the Barberini metro stop, and 5 - minutes' walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. There is wonderful shopping and dining nearby. Please be aware that the facilities are 100% non-smoking. ... more   less
