I stayed here a while ago but still think about it. I am planning on returning to Rome this fall and was hoping to stay here again, but it was already fully booked. We had a room overlooking the Spanish Steps. Fantastic! The room was large, well-maintained, and well-appointed. As anyone who's been to Rome knows, this hotel, being next...

Walking all over Rome through crowds of tourists, it was heavenly to return to our 2 room apartment with plenty of space for 5 people to spread out and relax. The two bedroom, 2 bath apartment was HUGE, clean and comfortable. With 3 kids, I never felt as though we were disrupting others. Centrally located by the Spanish Steps, there...

Very comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious Hotel room + living room that we appreciated a lot after our long days visiting Rome. You do not hear the street noise however Piazza di Spagna where the Hotel is located can be a very busy place sometimes and metro station is next. Personnel is very kind, attentive and helpful. They speak English...

This hotel is truly a hidden gem in Rome. The room was beautiful and LARGE, and so quiet! And you really can't beat the location, right next to the metro and a taxi stand, in the heart of great shopping and restaurants. You would really expect to pay more for such a great accommodation, and the staff was very helpful...

The staff were helpful before we arrived, arranging a car to collect us from the airport, and offering information about restaurants and places to visit. There was so much right on our doorstep and with all the wonderful shops and gorgeous places to eat.

Traveling with kids means extra space and working kitchen are a must. We were thrilled with the apartment style hotel with a direct view of the Spanish steps, it actually felt like we were on the steps. We quickly got our bearings and stopped at the local grocery store to stock on essential for the kiddies for snacks and one...

We had 2 beautifully appointed apartments (Donatello and Caravaggio ) on the 3rd floor of this lovely palazzo with views overlooking the Spanish Steps which were served by a lift. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious with AC, free WiFi, Sky TV, and tea and coffee making facilities . Off the main bedroom was a dressing area with plenty...

This hotel literally touches the Spanish Steps. We could look out our room window and see the entire steps (which are huge and beautiful) The steps tend to be busy late into the night which means that there can be a lot of noise which can be heard from your room. The location is literally in the middle of everything....

We stopped in Rome on our way from NY to Delhi for 3 days with 2 small children (1 and 3 years old). The hotel arranged everything for us - sent a driver to pick us up from the airport, arranged for lovely ladies to baby-sit (they came with us and the kids and helped us navigate the city) so...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina.
