Location is very convenient close to Piazza Barberini and the metro station there. On arriving at reception (if you could call it that) we were greeted by a friendly gentleman. The reception area is tiny and grotty and my first reaction was to run out the door! Our room wasn't ready so we were brought down a stairs to leave...

We definitely felt like we were in Italy while staying in this hotel.I think if you are looking for a modern hotel with English breakfast then it is not for you. It was perfect for us, because it is a traditional, charming little hotel just in the centre but still on a quiet road! The location is perfect, we walked everywhere...

Great place and I will come back again!! You can stop looking for hotel to stay in Rome and just come here, you will not regret it. Near metro and Barberini, you can walk to trevi and spanish steps from here in no time.

Two stars given for location and room size (although room was smaller than advertised on agency website) Three stars lost for: - cleanliness - room not as advertised This was a generally ok hotel, nothing special going for it. It is located just around the corner from Metro Barberini, which is a nice and safe neighbourhood. The hotel had a...

Ok hotel. Short distance to city centrum The hotel is clean. I think it's a bit cramped. The breakfast is decent. We ordered a room with balcony and got one without it. We talked to the receptionist and got upgraded. Crappy Internet all time. H

Stayed for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is very good 2 min walk from a metro station as well as many buses. It's also half way between the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain (probably a 10/15 min walk). The hotel could do with a serious lick of paint, a lot of marks on the walls. The room was...

The hotel is located right near Barberini Square, a nice restaurant, metro station and a few major bus lines and a drinking water fountain (called nosani by locals) just around the corner which I found to be very useful. Wifi is pretty good and air conditioning is excellent. The room is pretty small though but that's fine compared to all...

We stayed here for 2 nights after a cruise. The hotel is ideally situated so that you can stroll to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Piazza della Republica. The Hard Rock Café isn't far away either. The room we had was very average and the ceiling paint in the ensuite was peeling badly. Both mornings we found paint...

Between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, two of the most renowned sights in Rome and a few minutes walk from the lively Piazza Barberini with bus stops and metro you find the small family-run L’Hotel Cinquantatre in Via di San Basileo 53. The prices are reasonable, the rooms cosy and clean and the staff friendly and always ready...

This is a small, charming hotel with a great location. It is close to Piazza Barberini with access to the metro, bus stops, taxi stand, and tour bus stops and easy walking distance to Trevi and to the Spanish Steps. The breakfast room is on the top floor with a tiny balcony. The rooms are small and clean. This is...
