My sister and I were on a Europe trip, and we had been really happy with the places we stayed in Munich and Venice. Lodging in Rome was expensive, so we decided to stay a little less central to save some money. We thought this...More
Stayed 2 nights here as part of a 3 centre holiday.
We arrived by metro (Cornelia stop) which is about a 15 minute walk to the hotel. This was a very unpleasant introduction to Rome. Filthy streets, overflowing communal bins on the walk down Via...More
Although we found it initially hard to find, this was a very handy place, a short walk to the bus or metro, for seeing the sights in Rome. Breakfast was adequate, but many of the choices were sweet and being diabetic, I did not have...More
Firstly, it's not what you would expect of a 4 star hotel, more like 3 star - however the price reflects that.
It's a comfortable, reasonably priced base for exploring the city, 10 minutes from the metro.

We did a cheap package deal city break to Rome for 3 nights and was allocated The Marc' Aurelio Hotel. The hotel itself was clean, staff were a bit gruff but helpful and very funny to watch while waiting in reception. The room was pretty...More

You need to catch one of the many buses from the airport to Rome Station, cost 5 Euros. Then catch the Metro to Cornelia, and make sure you take the correct exit, otherwise you face a much longer walk. When you leave the platform go up the stairs, then turn right and go up 3 escalators and go straight ahead at the top. Turn right when you come out and then first left down the main high street. Follow for about 350 metres, then turn left at traffic lights and follow for another 350 metres. Hotel on left. Some restuarants near the traffic lights.
