The place is awfull. Our room was at 3rd floor. There wsa no elevator so we had to carry our heavy bags. The room was disgusting. The walls had damamges from the moisture and you could clearly see the mote. The beds were not comfortable and there werent enough for all our equipment ,not even for the mini fridge. They...

We stayed here for 1 night and wished we had more time. The hostess was so helpful and cheerful (and beautiful), we were welcomed very warmly. The hotel is tucked away in the Asian area of Rome right near the Train station, which we needed. It is a small but well managed property, clean and comfortable with a breakfast brought...

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's actually near the Colosseo and some metro stations. For the 5 days we were there they didn' t change the towels once, but at least they cleaned every day. The biggest problem we had is that there was no toilet seat in the bathroom and no matter how many times...

For a start, it's quite misleading to call it a "hotel" because it's more like a hostel actually. Already the first moments with this hotel was unpleasant and bad - after the whole day walking in Rome and waiting to relax and take a shower, we were told at the reception that our room is located in another building. This...

Location is good. Close to Coloseum, Manzoni underground station and tram station. I stayed for 3 days in single room. Bathroom was stinky and personal told me that it is the standard and didnt do anything. Last day I missed toilet paper and when I asked for one. The guy from reception brought me almost finished roll from personal´s toilet....

- Location: Good. 10 ~ 15 minutes from Termini station. - Wifi(Not working) & Staff: Disappointing When II told the wifi problem to the night-staff, he told me that "it is server problem. it might not work". he seemed not having willingness to fix it. My room was semi-underground.(I did not want to.) The staff told me that wifi problem...

Stayed here as part of the Expat Tour group. Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, bed was comfortable, good wifi. Location is far from City center , closest Metro station was a 15 minute walk. Breakfast was good and basic.

Stayed in the annex which was on the other side of town but still in a good location for all the sites. About a 10 minute walk to the main train station (termini). Room was very clean and the owner had some good recommendations. It was also close to some good cheap restaurants, particularly one called 'The Steak House'. However...

Im surprised how convenient location hotel are! Good transport connection, Rome Termini, underground and tram stations are nearby. Very helpfull staff and client oriented attitude. I recommend to choose double room, even if are traveling alone, it will certainly be more convenient than single room.

I stayed here for a few days in March. It's cheap, it's not far from the main train station, and it has wi-fi, those were the three reasons. I spent most of the time out and about. Location-wise you turn left and left again from Termini (which is massive) and continue on for fifteen minutes or so and you're there;...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
