Stayed 4 nights . A reasonable price for hotels in Rome. Reception spoke English, was friendly enough and helpful. Quite a big room facing via Nazionale and the rooms were clean. Very centrally located with easy walk to several tourist sites and the underground rail. (Bus stop outside front door but we didn't use it). Not so good points Had...

I wasn't impressed at this hotel, nor was I impressed either. The staff were friendly and did what they could to help us throughout our stay. Our room was on the top floor which meant we had to clamber into the very small lift with all of our suitcases. I am not complaining about the lift, I am simply stating...

This holiday was for my 50th birthday so we wanted a special hotel...well from check-in it was obvious that I was not of a high enough standard for this hotel!! I have stayed at many five star hotels around the world and have never been made to feel that I was of such an inadequate station to stay at this...

The hotel is in a good location, near the Termini Station. I stayed in a quadruple room and it was very comfortable and big. The bathroom needs to be renewed, though. Breakfast is simple, but very good. The elevator is quite old, but it works well. The staff is nice and gentle.

Discovered this bad egg by pure chance. Traveling around on our cousins annual trip to Italy. We booked in at a "3" star hotel on Via Nazionale, prime location and great price for a three star. I'm not sure who had the gall to give this pay by the hour locale anything more then angel dust on a shag carpet....

+ good location, it is too close to public transportation both bus and subway. + breakfast, less alternatives but enough for breakfast. At least coffee, bread, cheese and butter were there. + perfect lnternet connection. o small rooms o old furnitures - no window in single room!

We stayed here as an accommodation referral from our school travel agent. The building was deplorable, mold and leaking shower in the bathroom. When we showered the floor drain backed up. Was dangerous not excepting water on the floor when leaving the shower. Breakfast was the same for 6 days with buns hard enough to sharpen teeth, and canned fruit....

So gave our travel company specific instructions as to the location we wanted to be, and so they booked this hotel. It's like two or three hotels in one building, different floors are different hotels. Ours was nothing special, and our floor seemed to be a mix of actual people living there with a lot of noise. This is a...

You get what you paid for, Everything is basic from Hotel reception, room and restaurant. Near to termini station, shops, restaurants, bus stops are just outside of the hotel. We enjoyed anyhow for short stay. All day out, just needed only place to sleep and bath. Clean rooms, towels change everyday, but mattress is not comportable, needs to change.

Helpful staff, near Train Terminal, metro and busses, walking distance to some great restaurants and sights. Enjoyed staying there for three nights. First time in Rome, this was the best starting point as far as price and location are concerned. Do not pick this hotel if you need views or very quiet nights.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
