Hotel Stendhal is a great hotel in the heart of Rome. Easy to travel to all points of the city by either public transportation or on foot! Amenities were perfect and staff very helpful! Would def return.

Great location. 1 minute from metro. Nice time in lovely small boutique hotel. Pleasant and very helpful stuff. Small place for breakfast so don't be late) No vegetables on breakfast for me it's uncomfortable. If not to close the window with shutters will be noisy Via Tritone is lively. But nevertheless for our second time in Rome we choose this...

We arrived very late around midnight, but the service at the reception was impeccable. The reasonable price is not to match the luxury and spacious rooms, as well as the 5 star service from the staff, and the great breakfast served in the morning by your table (not buffet!). Its not a large hotel with hundreds of guests, queues and...

Hotel Stendhal is right by Piazza Barberini, a beautiful square in the heart of old Rome. It is a just a short stroll to the Spanish Steps, or - in the other direction - the Trevi Fountain. There are lots of good restaurants nearby. The rooms are small but beautiful, very clean, the staff are very friendly and the hotel...

The room was spacious and modern, nicely decorated; new furniture, clean; big bathroom, great amenities, spacious wardrobe. The breakfast was served with care, though selection of juices could be better.

We stayed for 3 nights in January (2 adults, 2 children) in the new annex. Hotel is in a great location and very well presented. The barman on Monday & Tuesday night recommended some great restaurants to try, so do ask him. He will also book for you and he makes excellent Aperol Spritz. Would stay again.

We stayed in the annex which is just round the corner to the main hotel. I usually have some complaint about a hotel but have nothing but praise for Hotel Stendhal. The location is perfect, the service is great and the room was to a very high standard. The attention to detail really made the difference. It felt like a...

What I really want to say is I am surprised in how friendly stuffs in the hotel are. They offer to help move our large and heavy luggage to our room. They give us lots of help! There is a gentle man who is knowledgeable, nice, friendly, warm, and so on. He is just too perfect to describe in a...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
