My husband and I planned our first trip to Rome ourselves, and researched many hotels in Rome, and were delighted when we found Hotel Oceania. It is a small, boutique hotel in the Trevi area of Rome on the third floor of a building. There...More
My wife and I and three of our children stayed here in mid-June 2017. The property was very clean, everything worked as it should, and we slept very comfortably in our two rooms. The hotel is located very near main bus lines and taxi lines...More
This hotel is very nice; located centrally but away from the busy streets. Rooms are nice and clean and cool during summer. Staff is also really friendly and breakfast is simple but good. Can really recommend this place!
We spent a week in Rome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Oceania. Kara and Roberto were always helpful, gracious, and welcoming. We've stayed at hotels and resorts all over the world and found this small hotel to feel more like a bed and...More
Rome is hot in summer, very hot. Many hotels claim they offer a/c but it's a slight coolish breeze at best. The Oceania offered the coldest, QUIETEST a/c we've enjoyed in a long time. But that's only the beginning of the niceties this place offers:...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
