Our party of four stayed for just 2 nights at end of April. We found it to be very clean and well kept for the star-rating. Large, clean breakfast room with reasonable choice for this sort of hotel, and you could help yourself to as much as you wanted. One of the rooms had not been prepared on arrival but...

I booked to stay at the Paisiello Parioli for a short break in April with my partner, sadly the Pope died just before we were due to go. Once we arrived at the hotel we were given a double room when we went to go and inspect it we found it very dated and dark, it was a duplex room...

Yes this hotel is in need of modernising but it is really clean and the staff are extremely friendly. The location is brilliant, a stones through from the tram and bus services. We found no problems with breakfasts running low and it is served until 10am with lots of variety of choice. Local restaurants are about a 5 minute walk....

Hotel is Clean but showing it's age, Be warned, you do need to go for breakfast early or as we found when we got down at 9:00 that all bread, fruit, cuttlery, plates, bowls had been eaten or used. I ended up eating cornflakes out of a cup with a teaspoon!. I was a bit concerned that the chap who...

This was a great-value hotel in a good location just on the Villa Borghese Park. We had booked a double but ended up with a 2-story, 5-bed suite with a balcony. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that gets you to into the center of town within 10 minutes -- we enjoyed not being in hustle of...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
